Soooo many of us have over indulged with the kids whilst on a Christmas break and the belly sticks out…(Face palm)

Lemme tell you something, I’ve been over indulging myself, so much so, that I am sick of the sight of Christmas puds and mince pies.

The question is…???

Does it matter that you feel a bit bloated… ? (Nope…!)
Does it matter that you have had a few too many beers…? (I have..!)
Does it matter that you have messed up a little bit, by eating crap…? (Mmmmm it was tasty…!)

Nope….it doesn’t matter, your healthy lifestyle is more important than an all year round 6 pack or flat tummy.

I was sat in a coffee shop in Australia (big holiday!) and overheard a woman telling her friend about the detox she had planned for February.
..
I won’t go into details, but after listening in (being nosey) I worked out that she was looking at consuming around 800 calories a day for 7 days..aaarrrrgggggghhhh!

The thing is, with this method,

*You will lose weight,
*You will also feel like shit,
*You will also put it back on again
The weight you lose will be water weight with minimal fat loss, no matter what your cheap bathroom scales tell you.. DON’T DO IT.

Im bit gonna give you my Top tips for a healthy lifestyle all year round…I’m just gonna give you my biggest tip of all time.
..
1. Stay away from diet shakes, slimming world, magic pills … basically stay away from FADS.. I know it sounds simple and many trainers will tell you that you need to embark on a miraculous detox, diet shakes, diet coffee, diet tea, super green diet..but none of it is a solution..

Bonus Tip – Try this…
Palm size – carbs (2 for men) Fist size – protein (2 for men)
Fist size – veggies (2 for all)
Thumb size – fat
..
Do this with at least 2 meals per day and you will feel the benefit, unlike the woman on the beach in Australia who will feel hungry and malnourished… !
