Why should you have an accountability coach?
Accountability is a knowledge of responsibility for your actions with the obligation to report explain and be responsible for the resulting consequences.
What accountability will do:
It will keep you consistent, because you will have to report back on what you're doing or not doing in the gym and at home with your food.
In fact at SC Vital fitness we see accountability as more important than personal motivation because not everyone feels motivated to go to the gym or eat healthy.
The thing is if we have someone checking up on us on a regular basis to see how things are going, we will eventually get of our arse, even if we don't feel motivated to get to the gym.
More often than not, we know that everyone can eat right and get to the gym on a regular basis, but we also know that a lot of people struggle even if they always seem to be getting things right.
TOP TIP: If you're struggling to make it to the gym and be consistent you definitely won't progress.
And that is why accountability, not just the best workout or the best diet, is the thing that is going to keep you on track to reach your goals.
Let me tell you a little story
There was a time a few months ago that I was struggling to workout on a regular basis, I was inconsistent with my workouts and my food.
So what did I do?
I decided to go and get myself a coach, yep a coach with a coach, it didn't matter to anyone how keen I was, or how much time I had, I was just too busy to workout, or so I thought...
What was my problem?
Unlike you I had nobody to check on my workouts or check that I was attending the gym.
I knew that I had to workout and eat healthy in order to achieve my goals, I just didn't bother, but when I found my coach my health increased my strength got better and I was a lot happier…why..?
Because I was held accountable to him.
The thing you can learn from this is that it is difficult for everybody, even for someone that has been into fitness as long as me. It's not a big deal and everybody goes through this once in a while it just means we're all human.
For me, it is a lot easier to stay consistent when I have my Coach/Personal Trainer checking up on me.
So then how do you get accountability?

A few of you (including me), have tried a few different ways of eating, just to see what works. Unfortunately we often find that they just don't do what we want...So then, what is going on?
You must by now be tired of listening to the media and all the social media experts on which diet is best, paleo, high carb, low carb etc...
It drives us nuts..!
The thing is your eating regime (not diet!) doesn't have to be over complicated.

You are getting older, fatter and sicker than ever before, but you don't know what to do..?
The thing is you know that going to the gym, using a mixture of weights and CV increases YOUR fitness levels and will stop the fat belly jokes in their tracks.

We would recommend doing some type of exercise 3-4 days per week for around 30-45 minutes per session.
The problem is ....Most people don't do it.
The worrying thing is a lack of fitness is attributed to more deaths than diabetes, smoking and heart disease combined.

I get it you don't know where to start, what to do and the fitness industry is full of get fit quick schemes.
But, you're not going to solve the problem by sitting on your arse.
Some of reasons we have heard for those who fear breaking through the physical inactivity barrier are:
The real issue is that many of us don't care how long we live.
LISTEN UP: If you don't exercise, you don't care if you DIE SOONER.
It is possible to reverse the early onset of disease and lazyarseitis

If you find the right Personal Trainer, so many things will change for the better.
What will change..?
Give yourself a break and get out for a walk with no less than 3 walks per week (90 Minutes) eat well and get of your arse.

I have a question for you..
I overheard a rather chunky bloke tell his mate that he is always busy in his business and has no time to work out or stay healthy..?
The kids and missus need him at home.
Let me tell you this.. "He's not on his own."
This is a common trait among HARD WORKING men and women.
Because they work hard, they tend to think it's ok not to bother with being fit, even though the science tells us that the following applies:
Or will they..? (NOPE)
So what are we gonna do about it..? And why are you like this..?
I get it your busy, which is why you have not time.
But, you're not going to solve the problem by missing the gym and going home to spend more time with the kids.
Your belly will still sag and you will be in a coffin before their 18th birthday, which is not so great = Less time with the kids.
I'm not saying you are gonna die today if you don't eat healthy and attend the gym. But you will be seeing the grim reaper sooner, rather than later.
So instead of waiting for a doctor’s appointment to talk about your fat gut, stinking farts and lack of motivation.
Simply turn the stats on their head and treat your sessions at the gym like you're going to the doctors. Book your sessions like a doctors appointments that you can't miss.
You wouldn't miss the next big meeting that will earn you more dosh, would you..?
The fitter you are, the more productive you will be and the less likely you will die of obesity related diseases.
If you do it right, so many things will change for the better.

**Imagine a mountain full of gold, sounds great, doesn't it?
Around the bottom of the mountain of gold are lots of little shops selling pans. These people are shit hot at marketing their product. They are also awesome at selling pans.
The gold diggers lap it up and buy the pans.
They listen to the sales pitch given on why these pans are the best pans, where the best places to pan for gold are, how great it is up the mountain. But its only good up the mountain with this sellers particular pan.
**The thing is, none of these pan sellers have ever been up to the mountain. They don't know about the gold or where is best to find it.
So the gold diggers keep trying different pan sellers, spending more money and forever searching for the right pan.
**TOP TIP: If you are thinking of looking for some golden nugget, here's a tip.
Why not look for the pan seller who didn't get rich from selling the pans and look for the one who got rich going up the mountain.
Now you have finished and understood my ramblings, im thinking that it will make you think twice before investing in your health/wealth.
